Renjer is proud to announce that one of our ambassadors and long-time supporters, Martin Grove (Instagram), has been selected to participate in Fjällräven Polar 2026 — a 300-kilometre dog-sledding expedition across the Scandinavian Arctic and one of the most immersive winter adventures in the world.
Martin works as an Emergency Medical Technician with the East of England Ambulance Service in Beccles, Suffolk. Away from his frontline role, he is an avid outdoor enthusiast who spends his time paddling and fishing the rivers of East Anglia, walking the Suffolk coastline, and guiding wilderness trips across both Northern and Southern Sweden.
More than 10,000 people apply for Fjällräven Polar each year, with only around 20 participants selected worldwide. Martin has applied for eight consecutive years, reflecting the determination and outdoor spirit that aligns closely with Renjer’s values.
Alongside his EMT work, Martin runs the outdoor brand Vildmark, where he shares his adventures, tests and reviews outdoor gear, and promotes high-quality products that help people enjoy nature with confidence — including Renjer’s premium wild game jerky. His trips, camps, and multi-day expeditions often feature Renjer products as a lightweight, nutritious source of energy in demanding environments.
Fjällräven Polar will take Martin deep into the Arctic wilderness, where he’ll drive his own dog team, camp in sub-zero temperatures, and travel through some of the cleanest and most remote landscapes on Earth. We’re proud to support his journey from the rivers and forests of Suffolk to the far north.
